The Duck' restaurant opened in June 2015 and has already gained a huge reputation in north Wexford.  It is situated in the courtyard of the renowned country house, Marlfield House.  The  new restaurant, cafe and bar is housed in the courtyard buildings with french doors and the south facing terrace overlooking the kitchen and rose garden for al fresco dining during the Summer months.  The Duck is casual and stylish with friendly staff,  delicious cocktails and moreish food.  Its an exciting fast paced place to work with a great atmposphere and lots of people wanting good food and fun.  Situated  ten minutes walk outside the bustling and prosperous town of  Gorey in Co Wexford and just 50 minutes south of Dublin on the N11 many are travelling from as far as Dublin to enjoy 'The Duck'.   Gorey is a prosperous town with lots of cafes and restaurants and a reputation for excellent shopping.

The successful candidates including waiters , waitresses, and barpersons will have a solid background in restaurants and/or hotels, be professional in his/her approach to their work,love meeting people and working with food and have a natural ability to communicate and deal with the public in a warm and friendly manner.  Fluent english a must.
The restaurant  aims to offer delicious, up to date  and simple food in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
