Business Sentiment feeling positive, in spite of Brexit and Trump!

Business Expansion and New Employment on the agenda for 2017.

The Build Your Business January 2017 Sentiment Survey carried out amongst the business sector in North Wexford saw a number of very interesting and some very positive viewpoints being expressed.

With 67% of respondents declaring that they had no sense of where Ireland would fit into Brexit and 73% being of the view that the soon to be inaugurated  President Trump in the USA would not be good for Irelands economy the overall view point was that the business sector was 100 % positive both in their Business and Personal lives.

83% would hope to see their business expand in 2017, with 67% having secured new business already and half of respondents seeing themselves creating new employment.

Gorey Chamber CEO Dick White commented “The start of a new year is always a good time to look forward and see where we are going. We are heartened with such positivity amongst the business sector in spite of Brexit and Trump. With 83% predicting business expansion it clearly shows that the belief is that the economy is on an upwards curve and lets hope that these big global juggernauts of Brexit and Trump do not derail future expansion”
