You are invited to a breakfast this Thursday from 8.30am in the INNOVATE offices, when we will be joined by businessman and broadcaster Bobby Kerr.
INNOVATE will celebrate Ireland’s Internet Day and the designation of Gorey as the 2018 Digital Town next week.
We will be joined by Cisco Ireland and Tony Hanway, CEO Virgin Media for an announcement on how we have extended our partnership with Virgin Media and Cisco to launch a Managed Network Connectivity solution. This solution enables secure, consistent and cost-effective enterprise connections with proactive monitoring.
The official launch of Internet Day is taking place in the Digital Dome, Civic Square, Gorey at 10.00am, where CEO David Curtin, IE Domain Registry, will deliver a short address. Bobby Kerr will MC proceedings and a discussion on ‘The Digital Town’ with a panel of local and national business experts.
The launch event is free to attend, but places are limited. If you would like to book, please click here.
The event opens to the public from 11.00am to 3.00pm. There will be digital experts present to offer advice to businesses and citizens (free of charge) and an augmented reality installation which promises to be a lot of fun.
The ‘Digital Town’ initiative highlights the benefits and possibilities of the internet and celebrates the digital achievements of a local town. Gorey was chosen for cultivating a truly digital environment in the town, and for its ongoing successes in fully embracing digital for its residents and for local businesses.
We hope you will join us on the day.
